Software built around how shops actually cut
KRON Cutting optimises the cutting of metal and other linear profiles with minimum waste — and follows the material the whole way, from goods-in to finished part.
Cutting optimisation, end to end
Cutting plans are still drawn up by hand in a lot of shops, and the cost of that shows up in three places at once: metal in the scrap bin, hours spent on calculations and paperwork, and mistakes that only surface at the saw.
KRON exists to take all three out. It selects a way to cut your stock that reduces waste, keeps every usable remnant in circulation, and produces the drawings and documents the floor needs without anyone drawing them.
- Cut geometry, not just lengthsMost nesting tools treat a part as a number. KRON works with the cut itself — straight, mitre and complex ends, entered by leg or by degrees, with the gap needed between two unequal cuts.
- Splices as a controlled decisionA splice is cheaper than scrap sometimes and far more expensive other times. So splicing is something you switch on per profile, cap, and forbid in the zones where it must not happen.
- Material tracked end to endA bar arrives against a supplier and a document, becomes parts and a marked remnant, and that remnant comes back with its paperwork intact. Nothing is lost between the rack and the saw.
Not available today
Everything below is planned or in development. None of it ships in any plan right now, and nothing else on this site depends on it. It is listed here so you can decide with the full picture — and tell us what to prioritise.
Sheet cutting
Nesting for flat material alongside the linear profiles KRON handles today. A tab exists in the application and is marked as under development.
Public API
Programmatic access to projects, cutting results and warehouse stock.
ERP integration
Pushing purchase requests and stock movements into the systems that already run your business.
On-premise deployment
Running KRON inside your own network for operations that cannot use a hosted service.
Need one of these to commit? Tell us which — it genuinely changes the order we build in.
