Administrator guide

Everything only the administrator can reach: the personal account, the organisation's details, the people who can log in, and what they are allowed to do.

Login and registration

You can start with KRON in two ways — register a new account, or log in to an existing one.

Registration

Enter your email, create a strong password, repeat it, and accept the terms of use.

Immediately after clicking Register, a window opens for the email confirmation code. A temporary four-digit code is sent to the address you gave; enter it and you are taken to your account.

Log in with the email and password you set at registration.

If you are an organisation employee

If you received a message saying your account has been created, the password you need was set by the administrator of your organisation's account — ask them. To change it, use the password recovery flow on the login screen.

After login

The work-mode selection screen opens: Warehouse or Production. The button for the Personal Account is here too.

Tip

You can switch between the two modules at any time using the tabs in the top-left of the screen — you do not have to log out and back in.

The personal account

Available to the administrator only. The menu is on the left, on a grey background.

Profile

The administrator's email, full name and job title. To change the email, enter the new address and your account password; a code is sent to the new address, which you enter in the window that appears.

Organization

The organisation's country — which determines the documents KRON generates — and its details: company name, registration and tax identifiers, legal and actual addresses, contact person and phone number.

This data is used to generate invoices for plan payments, so it is worth completing before your first invoice rather than after.

Which fields apply depends on your country

The specific identifiers requested depend on the country selected. Fill in the ones your jurisdiction uses; the invoice is built from whatever is present.

Employees

The list of company employees. Here the administrator creates and deletes employee accounts and configures access levels.

An employee account holds full name, email, job title and a password. The administrator creates the password, but the employee logs in with a code sent to their email. To change an employee's password, use the password recovery procedure on the login screen.

Available features are chosen with checkboxes from a list, and access for any employee can be changed at any time.

Exceeding the plan limit locks everyone out

If the number of employees exceeds what your plan allows, access is restricted for all employees until the count returns within the limit — not just for the most recently added one. Reduce the number of accounts before downgrading a plan.

Plans

Choose a plan and a subscription term. After clicking Subscribe, KRON offers payment as an individual or as a legal entity:

  • Individual — redirects to a card payment page.
  • Legal entity — issues an invoice for payment by bank details.

KRON pulls the details from the Organization tab, but you can edit them by hand before generating the invoice — useful when payment comes from a different legal entity.

Price lock

Subscribing locks in the price of the plan and of every feature connected at that moment. While the plan stays active you can renew at the original price indefinitely. If the plan lapses, any further subscription is at the price current at that time.

Orders

Holds the current order for paying for features or plans. An order can be paid or cancelled.

One active order at a time

While an active order exists you cannot create a new one. Cancel the current one first.

The History button in the top-right lists every order: operation number, date, amount, payer, status, payment type — card or invoice — and the payment documents to download, with a date filter. After payment you can download the contract and the completion act for your accounts.

History

Records every action in the program, including employees' actions: parts added and deleted, and any change made anywhere. Filters by date, action and employee are available.

This is the record you go to when a plan changed and nobody remembers why.

User management

Where: Personal Account → Employees.

The administrator creates and deletes employee accounts and configures their access levels. An account holds full name, email, job title and a password set by the administrator; the employee logs in using a code sent to their email. Available features are selected with checkboxes.

Access is worth reviewing periodically rather than only at onboarding — the checkbox list changes as KRON adds features, and new features are not granted retroactively.
